Have you signed up to foster or volunteer yet?

Fostering a dog is a win-win situation. You are saving their life, and they are adding joy and love to yours 🙂

Fosters Needed

Another way you can help is by becoming a foster home for one or more of our available dogs or puppies. Opening your home and fostering them until they find their forever home.

Make a Difference

This is not only a very rewarding experience but AkDPR makes it easy. We provide food, medical expenses, crates, bedding, toys, treats and anything else you would want for your foster dog is provided to you free of cost. All you have to provide is a safe, warm place for the puppy or dog.

Volunteers Needed

The need is so great and the ways to give are many, the more you help the more we can do! Open your heart, time or home to a puppy or dog. You are saving their life, and they are adding joy and love to yours.

Make a Difference & Volunteer

Being an all volunteer rescue we are always looking for people with the time and heart to help. You can help now by signing up to become a volunteer using the link here. We are always in need of good hands.

Other Ways to Help

If you don't have time to volunteer or space to take in a foster dog consider a tax-deductible donation. In 2008, we spent $15,000 for dog food, $9,100 for micro-chips and $11,000 for rescue fees.

No Amount is Too Small

We are always in need of dog bowls, adjustable collars, blankets, toys brushes, dog shampoo and many other miscellaneous dog items, No donation is too small and anything helps.

2017 Goal Progress

Get involved & engage, you can help us meet our mission goals for 2017. No matter whether it’s your time, a financial contribution or material donation, anything helps and nothing is too small.
